Longde Jinyuan officially settled in Anxiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone in July 2023 and is one of the key projects for attracting investment in Anxiang County. As an emerging enterprise engaged in the research and development, production and sales of bio-based new materials, cosmetics and food additives by using biological manufacturing technology, Longde Jinyuan is also a typical representative of developing new-quality productive forces in our city.

Wu Xinming, 52 years old, has been deeply engaged in the pharmaceutical industry for many years. When thinking about how the company can transform and upgrade from the traditional track, he has targeted synthetic biological manufacturing, a future industry recognized by the industry as a blue ocean.

"Synthetic biology is a multi-disciplinary subject. Synthetic biology technology can be used to produce products such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical intermediates and new materials. Wu Xinming said that the product research and development direction of Longde Jinyuan is to produce rare components of animals and plants by using synthetic biotechnology. Synthetic biotechnology can replace traditional plant extraction and chemical synthesis technologies. It has achieved breakthrough development in recent years. Its main advantages are, first, green environmental protection in the production process, and second, much lower production costs. The products have absolute competitive advantages in the market."

In the past year, Longde Jinyuan has built an enzyme and engineering bacteria experimental platform, a fermentation enzyme production workshop, and a purification and separation workshop for a series of products such as NMN, and has successfully started production. In the laboratory of the company's pilot production workshop, the reporter saw that the technical team was busy. Liu Jian, the person in charge, pointed to various bottles and jars and introduced: "The product we are researching and developing is the raw material of cosmetics, Pro-Xylane. Now the pilot production has been completed and it is expected to be put into production in October."

The reporter learned during the interview that currently, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and gene editing are being applied in the research and development projects of Longde Jinyuan. Wu Xinming is very confident about the development of the enterprise. He introduced that the company has currently established stable cooperative partnerships with many pharmaceutical enterprises ranking among the top in the world. The products radiate to Asia, North America, and Europe. To seize the market, the company is speeding up the construction of the second production line. The production line is currently in the installation and commissioning stage and is expected to be put into production within this year. After completion, the enterprise's annual output value can exceed 500 million yuan.
